The Shakes were formed in the mid-Nineties after a lot of requests for a
‘Really Good Band’ to perform at Society Weddings and Corporate Functions.

Pat Waller, Steve McGrath and Sid McManus have worked together in various Bands
since the mid 90’s and have amassed a huge repertoire of songs. All three are professional musicians with great dedication to their craft and with vast experience in the Recording and Television Industries in Ireland. They have toured extensively in Ireland, England and Europe and have performed with many of Ireland’s top entertainers.

Some of our highest profile gigs to date are Bryan McFadden and Kerry Katona’s Wedding in Slane Castle in 2002; Backing the Finalists and Winners at the 2004 ‘You’re a Star Party’ for RTE, the New Year’s Eve Ball in The Shelbourne Hotel, the 2006 RTE Christmas Party in Donnybrook and the 2007 Carphone Warehouse Annual Ball in the Mansion House, Dublin.
